Special Interest Groups

Our current offerings are listed below. The smaller groups allow members to meet people in a more personal setting than the monthly meetings and at the same time enjoy a common interest together.

We want to emphasize that special interest groups make our club stimulating and rewarding. If you would like to start a special interest group at any time during our year, please email info@granbynewcomers.com. Some ideas would be: quilting, hiking, wine tasting, etc.

Movie Nights Club "Chix for Flix"
Contact: Regina Jahrstorfer (844-0272)

Interested members gather to watch a movie either in a member home or out at the theater. Movie night is a great way to get together with friends. Bring your favorite beverage & nibbles and why not bring your lap needle project? If you can tear yourself away from the movie it will be a great opportunity for you to spend time on your project.
If the movie was based on a book, often members will read the book before the movie night. Reading NOT required!

Please feel free to bring a friend or two along as the more the merrier!

please contact us. Beginners to advanced welcome.
